Brown, William Harold STUYVESANT William Harold Brown, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Stuyvesant, surrounded by his family on Friday, December 7, 2012. He was born in Buffalo to Leo V. and Irma Brown on August 12, 1930. After graduating from Canisius College, he began his very successful career in the truck leasing industry founding the Leroy Holding Company. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabell, of 59 years of blissful marriage and his daughters, Cynthia A. Jackson (Dr. William) and Barbara L. Utter (Albert Utter); grandchildren, William J. Carson, Ashley L. Carson and Alexa R. Jackson. Also survived by a sister, Irma Royal of Shawnee, Kan. and brother, Francis Brown of Bull Shoals, Ark. Predeceased by three brothers and three sisters, all of Buffalo. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, 1015 Kinderhook St., Valatie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10 at St. John's the Baptist Church, 1025 Kinderhook St., Valatie. A private interment will be held in Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn.
