Ferriero, Betty M. NEW BALTIMORE Betty M. Ackert Ferriero, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 peacefully at the Hospice Inn in St. Peter's Hospital with her loving family by her side. Betty was a bus driver for the R-C-S School District. She retired in 2007 after 30 years of service. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Anthony (Junie) Ferriero. Survivors include her children, Sarine (Larry) Jones of Selkirk, Debbie Williams of New Baltimore, Lewis (Sandy) Ackert of Selkirk and Pamela Ackert of Fla.; their father, Lewis Ackert of Fla.; stepchildren, Jeff and Chad Ferriero; grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Williams, Lynsey and Megan Ackert, Christa Pugsley and Britney Gregory; and brother, Harry Stannard Jr. of Berne. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Hazel Stannard; brother, Fred Stannard; and stepson, Chet Ferriero. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. Contributions in memory of Betty may be made to Susan G.
