Weber, Betty A. VALATIE, N.Y. Betty A. Weber, 74, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 9, 2008 after a brief illness at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Betty was born June 26, 1933 and grew up in Whitehall, N.Y. She married and lived in Rensselaer for many years. She subsequently moved to Valatie and spent her remaining years there. Betty was active in many local organizations, including the Valatie Elves and local Red Hat Society. Betty especially enjoyed taking trips to shows and events with the local senior organization. Betty was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, William G. Weber. She is survived by her son, William J. (Lisa) Weber Sr. of Ravena; her grandson, William J. Weber Jr.; and sister, Mary Rooker of Whitehall. Viewing hours for friends and family will be on Friday, March 14 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15. For those who wish, donations to Community Hospice of Albany/St. Peters Hospice Inn, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 would be appreciated.
