Rozell, Theresa ALBANY Theresa Bechard Rozell, of Albany, went to be with her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her deceased son, Mark suddenly on December 8, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Bechard and Anna DiDonna. She was the proud mother of six other children, Henry (and his wife Alice), twins, Linda Rozell-Shannon and Mary (and husband Wallace Hutchinson), William (and his wife Paula), Regina (and her husband Richard Cesternino) and Gerard. She was extremely proud of her seven grandchildren, Tricia, Henry IV, Bill Jr., Joseph, Nicholas, Kristina and Christine, and four great-grandchildren. Theresa spent many years living in Rensselaer where she was a communicant of St. John's Church and spent the last 30 years as a resident of Albany. Theresa brought joy and touched the lives of many with her personal greeting card ministry where she created hand-drawn cards and sent them to anyone she heard about who was sick, or just to say Thinking of You, Thank You, Happy Birthday or to show sympathy for the passing of a loved one. Theresa was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She started singing as a child on the stage at St. Coleman's Orphanage in Watervliet. Her singing continued over the years even up to the day of her passing. She often entertained family and friends with a spontaneous medley of songs from the olden days. She was extremely kind and generous to everyone she met and gave glory to God for every blessing. She leaves behind many fond memories from all who have known and loved her. A great void in the lives of her family and friends will be felt, including her friends at Jack's Oyster House Restaurant, where she was a regular for over 20 years. She will be deeply missed. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St. John's the Evangelist Church, Herrick St., Rensselaer (near the train station) on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow the Mass in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Greenbush.
