COEYMANS Mary A. Arthold, 85, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital. Mary was born in Manhattan, N.Y., she had lived in Vermont for 16 years and in Coeymans for 18 years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena and a member of Senior Projects of Ravena. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Arthold. Survivors include her children, Ann Marie Verderber of Coeymans, June Ford of Albany, Marilyn Arthold of Manhattan and Joseph Arthold of Pa.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gillis of Castleton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by one sister and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30, Saturday, June 25 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral home, Ravena on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to the Humane Society of the U.S., 2100 L St., Washington, D.C. 20037 or the American Cancer Society.
