RAVENA Lynn D. Arceneaux, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at St. Peter's Hospital. Lynn was born in Lutcher, La., raised in Troy and then moved to Ravena where he graduated from Ravena High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II, receiving an honorable discharge. Lynn retired in 1988 after many years of service at Callanan Industries in South Bethlehem. He was a bowler in several leagues, he played in the Monday Bridge Club at Senior Projects of Ravena and had been a member of the Town of Coeymans Zoning Board. In the mid-fifties, Lynn was one of the founders of the Hudson Valley Little League, subsequently serving as a manager/coach for several years. Survivors include his children, Joel (Ana) and Jeff (Wendy) Arceneaux, both of Miami, Fla. and Jan Corcione of Slingerlands; grandchildren, George McHugh and Hailey Arceneaux; his extended family, long time companion and caregiver, Marion Hotaling, Ron (Joyce) Hotaling, Kevin (Janice) Hotaling; seven grandchildren, Ron, Randy, Rick, Rebecca, Jessalyn, Jaime and Evan; and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by Shirley Arceneaux. Lynn was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Bonanni and brother, Donald Arceneaux. Funeral services will be held 10:00 Friday morning, October 10 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will be in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Lynn may be made to Senior Projects of Ravena, PO Box 142, Ravena, NY 12143.
