RAVENA Robin Lee Woodworth Boomer, age 46, died at home on Tuesday morning, September 13, 2005 after a long bout with brain cancer. Robin grew up in East Jewett, N.Y., graduated from Hunter Tannersville Central and attended Columbia Greene Community College. She worked as a rural mail carrier with the United States Postal Service at Westerlo and Hannacroix for 15 years. She was a fantastic wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Dan; five children, Nathan (Kari), Akra, Katy, Meagan and Madalyne; three grandchildren, Travis, Hailey and Olivia; her parents, Ruth Mary and Gerry Woodworth; one sister; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was a friend and strength to all who knew her. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Robin may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
