RAVENA Madeline Palmer Spaulding, 56, entered eternal life Friday, October 7, 2005 at Albany Medical Center. Madeline was born in Albany, daughter of the late Anthony and Carrie Palmer. She lived all her life in the Ravena Coeymans area. For 13 years, Madeline was a manager at Albany Medical Center Hospital. She also was a certified professional coder and taught this profession at Bryant & Stratton in Albany. She was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include her loving husband, Roger H. Spaulding of Ravena; nieces, Bernadette Futia of Albany, Kathy Knaupp of Wynantskill and Sandra Athanasia of Brewster, N.Y.; nephew, Tony Picarazzi of Latham; grandnieces, Carrie Santa Knaupp and Sarah Athanasia; and grandnephews, R. J. Knaupp and Nino Futia. Madeline was predeceased by her sister, Santa Picarazzi. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Monday, October 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans. Contributions in memory of Madeline may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
