RAVENA James Jake P. Donnelly, 64, entered eternal life Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at his residence after a long illness. Jake was born in the Bronx and had lived in the Ravena area for 24 years. He retired in 1995 after 33 years of service with Blue Circle Cement Co. He had been active in the Selkirk #3 Fire Co. before his illness and, in the late 50s, Jake was a rodeo bull rider in the Cairo area. Survivors include his beloved wife of 24 years, Dianne Rosato Donnelly of Ravena; son, James K. (Jacqueline) Donnelly of Albany; stepchildren, Marylou Delamora of Albany and Michael Margiasso of Ravena; brothers, Jerry (Jane) Donnelly of Earlton and Edward Donnelly of Fla.; granddaughter, Melissa Delamora; and mother and father-in-law, Frank and Erma Rosato of Ravena; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Marlene Rosato of Scotia. James was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Julia Donnelly. Calling hours were at the Babcock Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans. Contributions in memory of James may be made to the Albany Regional Kidney Center, 2 Clara Barton Drive, Albany, NY 12208 or to Senior Projects of Ravena, P.O. Box 142, Ravena, NY 12143.
