Polsinello, Anthony "Tony" RENSSELAER Anthony "Tony" Polsinello, 50, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital Sunday, June 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by friends and family. Tony was born in Albany, son of Jim (Fran) and the late Dawn Polsinello. He was known for driving tractor trailers, running heavy equipment and being there whenever anyone needed a hand. He was very proud of his career as a football kicker at CBA. Tony always had the biggest smile. One of the biggest joys in his life was spending time with his nieces and nephews, whether they played video games, raced motorcycles, played baseball or even mowed the lawn together. He also loved and looked forward to the comradery he shared with his best friends at the shop. His love for animals was demonstrated in the way he cared for his dogs Rocky (Sloop) and Marty (Fathead) who predeceased him. Survivors include his sisters, Lynn (Kenny) DelSignore and Lisa (Rodney) Polsinello; nephew and best friend, Vincent (Natasha) Polsinello; nephews and nieces also include Kira, Leah and Kenny DelSignore, Dawn, Trista and Alex Polsinello, along with Mike, Jimmy and Angela Adams. Tony was predeceased by his brother, Vince Polsinello and nephew, Nicky Polsinello. God Speed. God Speed. Funeral service will be from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer. The family would like to thank The Community Hospice of Rensselaer City through St. Peter's for their continuous care and support for Tony. We would also like to thank Teagans Restaurant in Rensselaer for being a second family to Tony. Condolence page at wjlyonsfuneralhome.com
