Healey, Thomas J. ALBANY Local musician and recently retired teacher, Thomas J. Healey died suddenly on Monday, July 21, 2014 at home. Tom was the son of Bette Kenific Healey and the late Thomas K Healey. In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Kirk) Morgan and Maureen (Robert) Welch; nephews and nieces, Kirk (Cortney), Zachary (Natalie), Kara, Eric (Katie) Morgan, Erin (Justin) Abbot and Eileen Welch and beloved companion, Terri Cronin and her children, Christopher (Karen) Gockley and Casidhe (Jesse) Burby and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tom's funeral will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 25th Street and 7th Avenue, Watervliet where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend John F. Tallman and Reverend L. Edward Deimeke. Entombment will follow in the Community Mausoleum at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Friends are invited and may also visit with Tom's family on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
