RAVENA Elizabeth Mary Cacckello Oatman, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Ann Lee Nursing Home, where she was a resident. Elizabeth was born April 1, 1930, daughter of the late Benny and Mary Cacckello. She had lived in Ravena most of her life. Survivors include her children, Mary Ann (Chris) Libertucci and John and Debbie Oatman; several grandchildren; sister, Rosemarie Peterson. Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers, Tony, Benny and Frankie Cacckello. Granny O's eyes would light up a room when she shared visits from her granddaughter Niona and great-granddaughter Hayley Crosier, to whom she was extremely close. She takes fond memories with her and, likewise, they will always cherish the memories they shared with her. Special thanks go to the staff at the Ann Lee Home 2W for their special care and kindness to Elizabeth, Community Hospice of Albany and their volunteers. A very special thanks to Joseph, Doreen, Dawn and Sarah for all their compassion, kindness and comfort. A private funeral will take place at a later date. Those wishing to remember Elizabeth may either send a contribution to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or to Make A Wish Foundation, 1275 Broadway Ave., Albany, NY 12204.
