BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. Stanley Thomas Pagano, 66, of Bonita Springs, after a long illness, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, N.C. Stanley was born in 1939 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He lived most of his life in Upstate New York and then retired in Southwest Florida. He worked as a civil engineer for the NYSDOT and the NYS Thruway Authority until his retirement in the mid 1990s. He will be remembered as a very religious man and a longtime member of Cursillo. He will also be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. Stanley is survived by his wife, Suzanne Dahl Pagano; his sons, Stan and Thomas; his daughter-in-law, Susan; his granddaughters, Kate and Ella; his sisters, Marion Swartz and Joann Larkin. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
