COEYMANS Joseph G. Orsino, 80, died Thursday, January 22, 2004 at St. Peter's Hospital. Joe Clean was born in Ravena, son of the late William and Virginia Frangella Orsino and lived most of his life in Coeymans. He was a Navy veteran, serving during World War II. Joe retired after many years of service with New York Central Railroad. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena, a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW Post 9594, American Legion and the Coeymans Fire Co. Survivors include his wife Santa Palmer Orsino of Coeymans; children, James J. Orsino and his wife Anita of Greenville and Virginia Orsino and her husband Carl Senter of Coeymans; grandson, James J. (Nicole) Orsino Jr.; great-granddaughter, Emma Orsino; and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by two brothers, James and William Orsino. Funeral services will be held 8:00 Sunday evening at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Contributions in memory of Joseph may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main St., Ravena NY 12143.
