FEURA BUSH Francis Frank A. Slaver, 64, entered eternal life Saturday, October 14, 2006 with his loving family at his side. Frank retired in 2004 after 23 years of service as a truck driver for Colonial Plumbing and had worked 13 years for Sager Spuck, Albany. He was an avid hunter and fisherman with a great appreciation of nature. Survivors include his loving wife, Joan A. Smith Slaver; children, Joanie (Wade) Holt, Peggy Slaver-Catello and Wayne Myers and William (Kristen) Slaver; siblings, Joseph, John, Robert Slaver; Nettie (Sissy) Fuller and Mary Mattice; grandchildren, Markie and Christopher Catello, Kenneth and Keith Blair and Katie Slaver; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Catello. Frank was predeceased by his parents, William and Nettie Slaver; brothers, William and Edward Slaver. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 18 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Cemetery, Feura Bush. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Contributions, in memory of Frank, may be made to Albany Medical Center, ICU.
