SOUTH BETHLEHEM Albert H. Conrad, 72, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the Hospice Inn, St. Peter's Hospital. Albert was born in Earlton and has lived in South Bethlehem since 1956. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. Albert retired in 1989 after many years of service with Penn Truck Lines in Selkirk. He was a member and past chief of the Selkirk Fire Co. #3. Albert was predeceased by his wife Bette Conrad. Survivors include his children, Cynthia (David) VanKempen of Ravena, Bonnie (Brad) Kellam of Ravena and Robert (Mary) Tice of Coeymans Hollow; brothers, Edward and Phillip Conrad; sister, Mary Ellen Scofield; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Albert was predeceased by four siblings. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Tuesday morning, April 27, 2004 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Albert may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 or to the Fireman's Home, 125 Harry Howard Ave., Hudson, NY 12534.
