HANNACROIX David E. Leonard, 63, died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at his residence. David was born in Albany and has lived in Hannacroix for 25 years. David retired in 1988 from the Albany Police Dept. after 25 years of service and in 2003 from the R-C-S School where he was a bus driver for 15 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Greenville American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Geel Leonard; sons, Douglas R. (Bonnie) Keyer, Donald E. (Stephanie) Keyer and David E. (Leah) Leonard Jr.; grandchildren, Kacey, Samantha, Dylan, Brittany, Madison, Jacob, Brianna and Ryan; brother, Paul (Diane) Leonard; many nieces and nephews; also survived by daughters, Cathleen, Deborah and Laura. David was predeceased by his parents, John T. and Lillian McCormack Leonard; his brother and sister-in-law, John T. and Carol Leonard. Funeral services will be held 10 Wednesday morning, October 27 at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in Onesquethaw Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
