RAVENA Anna (Tootie) M. Oropallo Borowiec, 68, died Thursday, November 11, 2004 at her residence in the presence of her loving children after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Tootie was born in Albany, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Oropallo, was raised in Selkirk and had lived in Ravena for 37 years. Survivors include her children, Ann (Honey) Carrk and her husband Tony and Christopher Borowiec, both of Ravena; loving companion, Fred Dollar of Ravena; siblings, Ralph (Buddy) Oropallo of Latham, Patricia Cusano of Niskayuna and Mark Oropallo of N.C.; grandchildren, Anthony (TJ) and Amanda Carrk, Kristyn, Lyssa and Christopher (CJ) Borowiec; and her dog, Chanchler. Funeral services will be held 9:30 Monday morning, November 15, 2004 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Anna may be made to Community Hospice of Albany or to St. Patrick's Church, Ravena.
