RAVENA Phillip W. AuClaire, 82, died Monday, February 24, 2003 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Vermont, he has resided in Ravena for 50 years. Mr. AuClaire was employed by the former Stalker's Dairy for many years and retired in 1982 from the Town of Coeymans Highway Department. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Taylor AuClaire of Coeymans; his children, Diane Plath of Fla., Phyllis Morlock of Troy, Phillip AuClaire of Troy, Gary AuClaire of Ravena, Debbie AuClaire of Troy, Brian AuClaire of Ravena and Roger AuClaire of Westerlo; his siblings, Francis AuClaire of Pottersville, Merle AuClaire of S.C., Wilford AuClaire of Ravena, Mary Jenkins of Alcove, Lillian Heath of Greenport, Marie Greene of North Creek and Dorothy Jurgens of Hannacroix; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph AuClaire, Robert AuClaire and Irene Stokes. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 Thursday morning, February 27 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will be in the spring. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Ravena Rescue Squad, PO Box 144, Ravena, NY 12143 would appreciated.
