Rowe, Frank R. RAVENA Frank (Whitey) Rowe, 79, died Friday, January 5, 2007 surrounded by family. Frank was born in Albany and had lived in Ravena for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Frank retired from the NYS Department of Transportation after 40 years of service. He also worked for Frank (Pop) Biscone for many years. Frank was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena, enjoyed hunting, boating and spending weekends with friends. Survivors include his children, Susan Rowe of Ravena, John (Cathy) Rowe of New Baltimore and Claudia (Jeff) Clark of Colonie; grandson, Richard Clark; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and longtime family friend, Blondie Neri. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Ruth Rowe; his wife, Rosemary E. Rowe; son, Richard Rowe and brother, Robert (Boo) Rowe. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 8 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Frank may be made to St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Rd., Loudonville,, NY 12211.
