Fryar, Mary A. RAVENA Mary A. Nunziato Fryar, 88, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at her residence. Mary was a lifelong resident of Ravena. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, member of the Rosary Altar Society and Senior Projects of Ravena. Mary enjoyed playing cards and being happy and carefree. Mary was predeceased by her husband Cornelius J. (Casey) Fryar who died in 1988. Survivors include her children, Cornelius F. (Skip) Fryar and wife Sara of Ga.; daughter, Terry and husband Larry Hyslop of South Bethlehem; brother, Frank Nunziato of Ravena; sisters, Anna Datri of Ravena and Loretta (Karl) Herchenroder of Albany; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Theresa Nunziato and sisters, Josephine Weisheit and Raphael Nolan. A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 18 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Mausoleum in Coeymans. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143 or to Senior Projects of Ravena, P.O. Box 142, Ravena, NY 12143.
