Ferriero, Carmen J. RAVENA Carmen J. Ferriero, 80, entered eternal life Friday, May 25, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his family. Carmen was born and lived most of his life in Ravena. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Ravena VFW Post 9594. In 1980, Carmen retired after 15 years of service with Atlantic Cement Co. Survivors include his wife, June Anderson Ferriero; children, Michael (Michelle) Ferr-iero, Gina (Mathew) Fabrizio, Maryann (Timothy) Murray, Carmen (Susan) Ferriero Jr. and Daniel (Carol) Ferriero; brother, Peter Ferriero; sisters, Jane Per-sico, Mary Eaton and Margaret Guiry; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Mathew and Mathew Jr.; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carmen was predeceased by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Anna Dean Ferriero; siblings, Angelo, Salvadore, Anthony Jr., Antoinette Blood and Connie Gettings. A special thank you to Dorothy Persico and Carmella Francisconi for their constant help at all times and a sincere thank you to Dr. Michael Kolodziej and his entire staff for their constant care throughout this long illness. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions in memory of Carmen may be made to the Ravena Rescue Squad.
