Biscone, Francis "Pop" RAVENA Francis "Pop" J. Biscone, 88, entered eternal life Monday, July 9, 2007. Frank was born and lived all his life in Ravena. He owned and operated the former Pulver House, Fran-Mar and Pop's Place for 60 years. Pop was a member of the Ravena Hose Co., Ravena Rescue Squad and the Ravena Fish & Game Club. He was also an Army veteran serving during World War II. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Mary A. Bocchi Biscone. Survivors include his daughters, Marcia J. (Kenneth) Distin and Frances J. (Carmen) Frang-ella; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lisa) Distin, Shelley (Richard) Dorr-ance, Carmen (Christy) Frangella III and Christina Frangella; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John J. and Joseph Biscone; and sister, Mary Biscone. Frank was predeceased by brothers, Dom-inick, Christopher and Anthony Biscone; sisters, Louise Harvey, Martha Musso and Rosemary Serapilio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday, July 13 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, Coey-mans. Funeral services were conducted under the direction of the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena.
