Eck, Agnes "Pat" SELKIRK Agnes E. "Pat" Eck, 76, entered eternal rest August 20, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home after a long illness, with her husband at her side. Pat was the daughter of the late George and Madeline Lemieux. She was born in Boston, Mass. and had lived in Selkirk for many years. Pat owned and operated "The Chimney Top" in the 1970s. She worked for the R-C-S School District for many years and was a great mentor for all the children in the district. Along with her husband, they owned and worked Eck Farms in Selkirk for many years. Mom will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Clarence J. Eck; sons, Michael (Terry) Biel, Paul (Colleen) Biel, Shawn Biel and Mark Biel; brothers, Joseph and George Jr. Lemieux; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Monday, August 27 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Pat to the charity of your choice.
