ALBANY Marguerite M. Father (A.K.A. Margaret M. Fathers), 75, died Friday, May 2, 2003 at her niece's residence in Ravena. Margaret was born in W.Va., daughter of the late Assad and Foumia Father and lived in Albany all her adult life. She was a 1946 graduate of Philip Schuyler and retired after 42 years of service with the New York State Department of Audit and Control. Margaret was an active member of St. George Orthodox Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include one sister, Rose F. Dunican; four nephews, Brian Dunican Sr., Robert Father, George Father and Harold George Father Jr.; seven nieces, Darleen Benza, Maureen Sherwin, Margaret Miles, Susan Derway, Barbara McMullen, Hope DeBacco and Dawn Reed; and several great-nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Adeep Edward Father. Funeral services will be held 9:30 Monday, May 5 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Albany. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Margaret may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, St. George Place, Albany 12202 or to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
