Lennon, Emmott E. BALLSTON SPA Emmott E. Lennon, 93, of Ballston Spa, formerly of Watervliet, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Saratoga County Maplewood Manor. He was the beloved husband of Annette White Lennon. Born and educated in Watervliet, Emmott was the son of the late Emmott E. and Dorothy McDonald Lennon. He attended both Duke University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Emmott resided in Watervliet for most of his life, moving to North Carolina for seven years and then to Ballston Lake in 1991. Emmott was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the United States Army. He was employed as a machinist for General Electric for many years, retiring in 1979. Emmott was a member of the Evening Star Lodge 75, past master of the Masonic Lodge and past high priest of the Hudson River Lodge. In addition to his wife, Annette, Emmott is survived by his two sons, William E. (Cathy) Lennon of Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y. and Donald J. (Kathy) Lennon of Yarmouth, Maine; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Lois Blaisdell. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Maplewood Manor for the excellent care that was extended to their Dad. Funeral service will be at the convenience of the family.
