Barbara R. Wooster

Wooster, Barbara R. DELMAR Barbara (Renteln) Wooster, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014, surrounded by her family. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late George and Olga Renteln. She attended the Roslyn School of Westmount, Quebec, and Russell Sage College. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Wooster. Founding member of the Bethlehem Art Association, Barbara was a gifted and prolific watercolorist, as well as an animal lover whose paintings can be found in numerous local homes, many displaying her unique sense of humor. She also depicted stark winter scenes evocative of the Canadian landscape. Barbara taught her children to cherish nature and the beauty in everyday life. Fondest memories were the summers she spent in Canada on Lac Labelle. Barbara is survived by her beloved brother George and her sisters, Beverly, Brenda, Bernice and Beryl, as well as her children, John (Nancy), Peter (Connie), Susan (David) and Charles (Debbie). She will be missed by her nine grandchildren, Cory, Laura, Sarah, Sam, Owen, Stuart, Meghan, Henry and Phoebe.
