Obituary

Bredice, Shawn Lynch ALBANY Shawn Lynch Bredice, 23, of Albany passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Schenectady on February 11, 1992, Shawn was a son of Barry E. and Susan L. (nee: Lynch) Bredice. He was raised and educated in the local area and a graduate of South Colonie High School. Shawn shared his playful energy in his employment with Panera in Colonie, where he was loved by all, especially by his "Bread Mama Tammy". He was also a member of Community Reformed Church of Colonie. Shawn will be remembered as a strong-willed young man with a unique and persistently charming personality, attracting many friends and acquaintances with his infectious smile and sense of humor. He was an accomplished skateboarder, fingerboarder and earned a second family of friends through skating at "The Shelter." Shawn is survived by his loving family which include two devoted parents, Barry E. and Susan L. Bredice; siblings, Kim Castelli of Conn., Wendy Virgadaula of Conn., Jason Bredice of Calif., Michael Bredice of Albany, Lisa Bredice of Albany, Melissa Bredice of N.C. and Harmony Bredice of Albany; aunts and uncles, Allan and Patricia Bredice, Cindy and Paul Latino, Kathleen and Michael McCamy, and Thomas Lynch; also by a nephew, several nieces, cousins and special friends. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Community Reformed Church of Colonie, 701 Sand Creek Road, Albany, NY 12205. A celebration of Shawn's life will take place on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tebbutt Funeral Home, Albany. Memorial contributions may be made in Shawn's memory to The Village of Colonie Outreach Center, 1639 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12205, where they will be distributed to charities that were especially close to Shawn's heart.
