Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed...My sincerest sympathy during this most difficult time. From a housemate (and bathroom-mate)at St.Rita's at St.Joseph's School of Nursing; "Cornie", you were always there to commiserate with, be home-sick with and to laugh & cry with - you're never forgotten - "Ruthie"

NOTHING REAL IS EVER TAKEN
We returned from Tucson on Sunday and heard the news of Connie's passing. We were blessed by the opportunity to spend many Saturdays with Connie in spiritual retreat. Together we were lifted to the gates of Heaven as the words of our beloved teacher filled us with Truth. Connie's presence there was such a joy. Her gentleness, her generous spirit, her beauty, wit and wisdom touched us deeply. It always moved me to catch her lovingly smiling at Paul or Estelle or Murray.
This beloved woman warmed many hearts and influenced many lives. Her mission here is completed. She moves on to new life, new promise, new ways to share her amazing spirit. Yes, all is well with Connie.
Still, her absence in this world leaves Paul, Murray, Estelle, and all of Connie's family and friends mournful for the loss of her presence. John and I send you all deep love and comforting thoughts as you walk through these weeks and months ahead. May her presence in your hearts continue to bring you peace.
Our Thoughts, Love, and Prayers remain with you,
Joyce and John Chupka

Grandma Connie,
My parents told me what a kind and generous person you are. I feel blessed to have had the chance to experience your radiant warmth and soothing presence in my life.
Although our time together was short, I enjoyed being held in your arms and I know that your spirit will always be with me.
Love Always,
Jonas

Anyone who knew Connie can tell you of all the wonderful things she was: kind, gentle, giving. I would like to add that, for me, being with Connie was how she made me feel. She emitted a calmness and peacefulness that would somehow pass to me and through me. That is a rare gift indeed. I will miss her in many ways.

The invisible side of life is so rich and full of wonders we cannot grasp until our own time comes to make the transition. We know energy cannot be created or destroyed, so let's affirm this: the energy of every entity on earth exists forever. Think of Connie's energetic essence remaining always with you, her loved ones, and bringing you peace.

I will never forget Connie's radiant smile, playful laugh and open-hearted warmth. We are all lucky to have been touched by her gentle spirit. I wish for all of Connie's family and extended network of friends the comfort that comes from knowing that she is at peace and resting in the pure love that she so readily shared with others.

We rejoice in our memories of her life with us
especially the example of her spirit and courage in confronting her recent illness.

One of Connie's greatest qualities was her smile, and that is what I will always remember, next to her quiet demeanor. We shared many fun-filled moments at St. Rita's Hall our freshman year at St. Joseph's. We also shared the experience of being raised in a large family from the same neck of the woods; she from Oneida, and I from Canastota, NY. Here's to country living! I will see her in the skies when I visit the windmills of Fenner that overlook the valley we grew up in. My condolences to her wonderful family.

Keep on walking where the angel showed
(All will be one)
Travelling where the saints have trod
Over in the old golden land.
We'll understand it better in the sweet bye & bye
(All will be one)
We won't need to worry and we won't have to cry
Over in the old golden land!

Connie was a wonderful aunt. Very soothing and approachable manner about her. She was a great sister to my mother and was a blessing in helping my father through his cancer in any way she could. She will truly be missed, but I believe that we should not lose sight that we will see her again some day.

On a few (all too few) trips upstate to Connie's and Paul's home, she was so wonderfully hospitable and warm to me, as if we had been friends forever. I can hear her very distinctive voice, always with kind, positive words. My heartfelt condolences to Paul and Connie's entire family.

Connie will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially by Ruth and me. She was a sweet person in the best connotation of the word - always thinking of others before herself. Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul her family.
