SHIELDS Jimmy Roland Shields, age 65, went to be with our Lord on October 17, 2016 in New Braunfels, Texas. Jimmy graduated from Nathan Bedford Forrest High School in 1969. He served with Christian Motorcyclists Association, Lost and Found Chapter #790, and was a member of Cranes Mill Baptist Church in Canyon Lake, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Shields, of Canyon Lake, Texas; his son, Jason (Ashlee) Shields, of Kansas City, Missouri; two step-daughters, Dawn (Leonard) Smith of San Antonio, Texas, and Meghan (Patrick) Gapusan of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister, Joan Rice of Smyrna, Georgia; seven grandchildren, and three nieces and one nephew. Jimmy was preceded in death by his son Jaime Scott Shields, his parents William Roland Shields and Mary Frances Shields, and his brother, Joe David Shields. Burial will be at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Florida, on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 11:00 AM.
