Betty Lee McClellan Everson, loving and beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to the Father February 7, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Don M. Everson, parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. She is survived by her daughters Lynne (Colon) Pope, Cindy (Charlie) Kampfe, and Nan (David) Legler; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. She graduated from Bowling Green High School (KY) and WKU and attended Southern Baptist Seminary. She taught chemistry and math for several years before starting her family. She also served alongside her husband in pastorates in KY and FL before retiring to Bowling Green, KY and then Franklin, TN. She was an exceptionally talented seamstress and gifted Bible teacher. She loved the Lord and trusted Him to guide her life. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11am, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Williamson Memorial with visitation an hour prior to the service.
