Don was quick with an extended hand and a trade mark smile and laugh.
The only times I saw him get flustered was when he would talk about his golf game. Don was a true friend to my company as well as my family for which I thanked him countless times.
One more won't hurt. Thank you Don Zell for your council and your friendship.

What a wonderful man Don Zell was. I had the privilege of meeting him when I roomed with his daughter Anne at UF. Not only were both her parents always there, but I have fond memories of Don driving into Gainesville after a day at work and taking Anne and I to dinner many times. We also went to her family home on weekends and I was welcomed with open arms. My family, husband and child has had the honor of knowning Don too. What a great man he was. Don was very caring and kind. My family and I are blessed to have known Don and his family. There are many wonderful memories that I have and will always cherish.
