This hurt...this woman was the embodiment of grace and strength. She was my friend and mentor, she lead by example, she believed in me always...she put action behind her words and taught me to pick my battles wisely and let the rest roll off my shoulders. She said Put your faith in the right thing and use your strength for the right thing and the right thing will happen. My favorite thing was, Dont change she said it over and over as I questioned myself, second guessed my own abilities as a new mom, wife, professional, I thought I couldnt do it, she always said, You can and you will. I called her when I was getting a divorce and she said, Cry it out and then dont cry again, raise those girls, make your mark. I did Stell, I am Stell, I did and am doing everything on my own terms, I pick my battles carefully, I let the rest roll off just like you said. Im strong Stell just like you saw, what I could not see, I am strong. I think we will be ok, I wish I had told you in person recently, I love you, thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤RIP, see you one day

Stell and I worked together for many years and thinking of her would bring a smile. She was intelligent, friendly, compassionate, and a pleasure to work with and know. Her smile and laughter would light up a room. It was only the love for her son, the support of her family and friends and her deep connection with God that got her through loosing her daughter so suddenly and a time on which I've often reflected. Stell was truly a gift. May she rest in peace and her family be comforted with loving memories and peace that surpasses all understanding which comes only through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
