Garbutt James Brown Jr.

BROWN Garbutt James Brown Jr., 76, died on February 21, surrounded by family. Jim graduated from Sewanee (University of the South), was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and Los Pinos. He was also a member of the Florida Yacht Club, where he sailed his beloved sailboat Cerveza. He retired from the city as a systems analyst. His love of boating led him to open his own marina. Jim is survived by his wife, Anne McRae Brown, his children Bette Strickler (Charlie), Linda Ohlrich (Jeff), Catie Bryant (Troy), and Michael Parker Brown, his siblings William Michael Brown (Renee) and Claudia Tharpe; plus his grandchildren-Phillip and Drew Cleland, Jeffery and Caitlin Ohlrich, Jacob and Peyton Bryant.
