George Lawrence Killam III Obituary
KILLAM George Lawrence Killam, III., age 65, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 after battling cancer. He was a native of Jacksonville and graduated from Nathan Bedford Forrest High School. He joined the Air Force and was recruited to play baseball. He was employed by Selene Finance and Litton Loan Servicing for 15 years. He was a passionate sportsman who loved baseball, football and golf. He was a devoted Gator fan, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. George will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Patricia J. Killam; son, Shawn Killam; grandchildren, Mackenzie and A.J. Killam and brothers, Steve and Mark Killam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Ann Humphries and George L. Killam, Jr. A Gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, November 4 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
