Ila Drew Obituary

DREW Ila Christian Drew, 86, of Fernandina Beach, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Baptist Medical Center-Nassau. She was born in Putnam County, Tennessee and moved to Fernandina with her late husband, James Mitchael Drew. Mrs. Drew was an active member of Five Points Baptist Church and was Past Worthy Matron of O.E.S. Chapter #55, Fernandina Beach. Survivors include her son: Joe (Mary Tom) Drew- Fernandina Beach; Grandchildren: John Drew and Julie Young; 2 great-grandchildren: Cameron and Chandler Young; Sister; Dimple Tucker Whiteman-Sebring, FL; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday at Five Points Baptist Church, with Rev. Glenn Wilson and Rev. Dr. Conrad Sharps, officiating. Interment will follow in Bosque-Bello Cemetery. Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors. Please sign the Guestbook at Jacksonville.com
