Linda Sue Horn, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on August 4, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born to Gary and Barbara Horn in Traverse City, Michigan on December 29, 1958.
Linda was a 1977 graduate from Traverse City Senior High School. She then honorably served in the Navy from 1980 – 1993 as a SH1-Ship Serviceman First Class. Her stationed locations include Honolulu, HA, Norfolk, VA, Seattle, WA, Spain, Bermuda and Jacksonville, FL.
Her work history included FEC Highway Services from 1997-2016 and Pro Transport, Inc. from 2016-2018. The love of her life was her dachshund, Barney, who was a constant companion for 18 years. Linda will be fondly remembered for her dry sense of humor, great love of SOAPs, her great love of animals, especially cats and her focus and dedication to her workplace.
The family would especially like to thank the hospice staff at Community Hospice at St. Vincent Hospital Southside, for their love and care during her final weeks.
