Wanda Fay Quesenberry Hardy, 79, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was born January 29, 1941, in West Virginia to Joseph and Ruth Quesenberry. She was a very strong woman who raised seven children on her own. She was a homemaker and a very special one that made sure all her children were raised in the church. She enjoyed cooking and baking but most of all enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter-in-law Melinda Knight; and her sister Tammy Horn. She is survived by her husband Tony Hardy; her children Ronnie Knight, Ann Beasley, Terry Knight, Duane (Teresa) Charles, Melinda Charles, Tonya (Tommy) Jones, Deborah (Bo) McFall, and Anna (Daniel) Pappalardo; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two step-children; two siblings Lucky Quesenberry and Alice Sykes; and numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 9:30 am at The Anchor Church in Callahan with Pastor Dwight Allen and Wade Mask officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
