Lila Esther Hollister Obituary
HOLLISTER Lila Esther Hollister, 95, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She was born in Blakely, Pennsylvania to William A. and Verna Mae Fueglein and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1947. Mrs. Hollister was a dedicated L.P.N. who retired after many years with University Hospital and was a member of the Eastern Star. Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn W. Hollister, Sr.; her son, Rayburn W. Hollister, Jr.; two sisters, Lusetta Bowen and Kathryn Becker and one brother, Gilbert Fueglein. Survivors include one sister, Bessie Allen; four grandchildren, Amy Skipper (James), LeAnn Bowen, Heidi Lamb (Cole) and Rayburn W. Hollister, III (Amber); 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and she was blessed with 3 beautiful daughters-in-law over the course of her son s life, Ruth, Lauren and Linda. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 19 (TODAY) in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. F. Ray Turner officiating.
