ALLEN Wendi Lynn Allen, 46, passed away November 18th, 2014. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 28, 1968. Wendi enjoyed two decades as a successful and passionate auto racer with numerous National and Professional SCCA Championships. In respect for her dedication to the sport, a pair of scholarships have been established in her name for upcoming female racers. Wendi is survived by her husband of 24 years, Mark Allen; twin daughters, Cassidy and Caitlyn Allen; father, Jon Lodin; mother, Carol Ann Lodin. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or to the Sports Car Club of America for The Wendi Allen Scholarship Fund. So very sorry to hear of Wendi's passing. Paul and I will always cherish the fun memories of racing Dodge Neons with Wendi and Mark. We'll miss you Wendi!
