JOHN GYLES Obituary
He was the husband of Neta F. (English) Gyles, whom he married on July 24, 1982. Jack was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Binghamton, N.Y., the son of the late John and Kathryn (Haggerty) Gyles.
He was employed as a construction engineer for several construction companies on major projects, retiring in 2004.
Surviving are his wife, Neta of Mansfield; son, Michael Gyles of North Carolina; two daughters, Heather Hughes (Jay) of Florida; Colleen Parsons (Chris) of New York; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Gyles (Barb) of North Carolina; sister, Kathleen Cocco (Phil) of Vermont; four step-daughters, Deborah Glover (Max) of Florida; Colleen Gardner of Florida; Angel Saunders of Colorado; Brenda Bach (Glenn) of New Hampshire; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Gyles and a sister, Pat Corsey.
As Jack requested, there will be no services. Memorials may be made in Jack's name to Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Route 6, Wellsboro, Pa. 16901. Now its going to be much easier to golf whenever you want to!! I hope that they have treadmills where you're going because that golfer gut is gonna show!!
