Ruth A. (Krapf) Houser, 92, of Lincoln Street Tamaqua, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial, Coaldale. She was the widow of Alfred David Houser, who died on Dec. 17, 1989.
A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, Ruth was a homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Arner) Krapf.
She is survived by her care giver, David Houser, and his wife Maxine; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Jacob Krapf.
Services: Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, with the Rev. Jeffrey P. Kistler to officiate. Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua. Online registry and condolences may be signed at www.griffithsfuneralhomes.com.
