Harold Warren Zimmerman
Harold Warren Zimmerman, 81, of Towamensing Township, Kunkletown, passed away Friday, June 8, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Carol A. (Whiteman) Zimmerman. They had celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on May 30.
Born in Leh-ighton, he was a son of the late Harold N. and Arlene (Christman) Zim-merman.
He was a graduate of Steven's Trade School of Lancaster.
He had been retired after working for many years as a supervisor at Blue Ridge Die Casting, Lehighton.
He was a past member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton.
He enjoyed throwing darts, was an avid golfer and bowler.
He had bowled in the leagues at Cypress Lanes in Lehighton and Haja Lanes in Palmerton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David W., and wife Donna, of Bethlehem; a stepdaughter, Holly Eckhart of Eldred Township; a stepson, Troy Bryfogle of Danielsville; grand-children, Emily Zimmerman, Briana Foster, Dakota Uhler, Hannah Bryfogle, Noah Bryfogle and Emma Bryfogle, and a great-grandson, Rowen Uhler; sisters, Diane, wife of Bill Strayer, of Newport, and Sally Warren of N.J.; and a brother, Thomas Zimmerman of Lehighton.
He was predeceased by a brother Dale Zimmerman.
Services: will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, 200 Franklin St., Weissport, with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey officiating. Viewing will be 10-11 a.m. Interment will be private.
