Mrs. Stephanie I. Rehnert
Mrs. Stephanie Irene Rehnert, 56, of Franklin Township, passed away Monday, July 9, in Carbon County. She was the wife of Robert M. Rehnert. They were married for 24 years last Aug. 14, 2017.
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Sunday, May 13, 1962, she was a daughter of Earlene (Winter) Stinnard of Honesdale, and the late Lester Stin-nard.
She was cur-rently em-ployed as an independent jewelry consultant.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Stephanie was involved with Lehighton community activities and previously volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader in the local community. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and loved her family oriented activities.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Erin M., wife of William J. Hill III, Cassandra T. Rehnert and Alexandra C. Rehnert of Lehighton; a son, Ryan J. Bortree of Honesdale; a grandson, Taegan Bortree; a sister, Daphanie, wife of Timothy Ellis, of Honesdale; a brother, Lester Stinnard Jr., of Honesdale; nieces and nephews.
Service: A Celebration of Life service in her honor will be held on Monday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, with the Rev. Jennifer K. Eckhart officiating. Call 5-7 p.m. on Monday. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Girl Scouts of America at GSUSA Fundraising, P.O. Box 5046, New York, NY 10087.
