My condolences to Janet’s family. So sorry to hear of her passing. Janet & I were friends in HS and would get together occasionally & also every 5 years for our class reunions. I have a picture she took of my oldest daughter when she was a toddler, about 40 years ago. She matted & framed it & gave it to me as a gift. Rest In Peace, Janet.

Janet served on the Board of Directors of the Lehigh Valley Photography Club for several years as our Exhibition chairperson. She was particularly gifted at hanging the photographs at our member shows, combining images from different experience levels and subjects into a cohesive presentation that flowed beautifully and brought out the best in every image.

I know she loved Stonehenge Gardens in Tamaqua very much and I was happy to see her there at an event once.

A kind and loving person, Janet believed in the power of art to connect and empower people of all abilities and we once attended a Lehigh Valley Arts Council event on access to the arts together during which I was reminded of and inspired by her compassion for all people.

Life dealt you some unfair hands, my friend. Your passing is yet another reminder of how blessed I’ve been to surmount some recent health challenges myself. I’ve missed you and will continue to do so.

To all of the Dean Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. I last saw her at a mutual friend's 100th birthday celebration this past summer. I knew she was having a tough time of health issues for the past few years but she looked well and I had hoped things would improve for her. She will be missed greatly. I loved her cloud paintings and photos, she was a talented artist and a very nice woman, always willing to help anyone.

To friends and family,
Janet was a dear friend who assisted me producing the Scholastic Art Awards in out region. She was my "Gal Friday". We lost touch for 5 years.
It was a shock about her passing. An extremely talented painter. She is now painting real clouds and sunsets. A gentle soul, always concerned about our environment. She will be missed. I wish her family health, healing and that we will always remember Janet.
