Janis A. "Jan"



Janis A. "Jan" Mack, 72, of Estero, Florida passed away May 22, 2015, in Tucson, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Mack in 1995. She is survived by his two children, Robert Bruce Mack (Erika), Santiago, Chile and Kathleen Stacy Shelley (Robert), Crystal Lake, IL and four grandchildren, Anais D. Mack-Gonzalez, Simone N. Mack-Gonzalez, Megan E. Shelley and Matthew R. Shelly (Clare).

Born February 13, 1943, and was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Jeanette A. (Momenee) Koch of Oregon, Ohio. She is survived by brothers, J. Edward Koch, Port Clinton, OH, Jeffery H. Koch (Betsy), Oak Brook, IL, Gilbert G. Koch (Mary), Port Clinton, OH and sisters, Joyce E. Greco (James), Ocala, FL, and Jean M. Terry (James), Davison, MI.

She also will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins; stepchildren, Lori A. Seymour and Bill Zuersher; great-nieces and nephews, along with many, many treasured friends.

She was raised in Oregon Ohio, attended Clay High School and Bowling Green State University. She worked for Ohio Bell in Toledo and Cleveland, Ohio and for AT&T in both Ohio and New Jersey.

She was a very active past member of the Master Board of Directors for the Breckenridge Condominium Association and chaired and served on many committees. Her tireless effort toward making Breckenridge a model community is a testament to her strong work ethic.

In accordance with Jan's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Take a moment to say a prayer and to toast her life, treasuring the time shared. Donations, in her memory, may be made to the charity of your choice.
