Rita Urbaniak Obituary
Rita D.
Rita D. Urbaniak, age 87, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Kingston of Perrysburg. She was born on September 19, 1927, in Toledo, OH to Casper and Frances (Arent) Puczynski. Rita worked in the Credit Department at Standard Oil on High St. for 12 years, retiring in 1955. She was a charter parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church and an active member of many organizations, including the American Legion Przybylski Post 642 Auxiliary and Retirees Club, the 8 et 40 Salon 101, the CWV Logsdon Walla Post 639 and the Scott Park Mothers and Daughters Club. She was also an avid Bingo player.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Urbaniak Sr. on June 16, 1995, and by her parents, Casper and Frances. Surviving are her sons, Edward J. Urbaniak Jr. (Shirley), Timothy Urbaniak (Susan), and Kenneth Urbaniak (Brenda); daughter, Janet Jaeger (Rodney); sister, Barbara Andrzejewski; grandchildren, Valerie Fisher (David), Nicholas Urbaniak (Julie), Justin Urbaniak, Patricia Urbaniak, Barton Urbaniak (fiancée, Cheryl), Nathan Urbaniak, Tiffany Jaeger, Kyle Jaeger (Emily) and Lyndsey Urbaniak, and great-grandchild, Abbott Jaeger.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, preceded by visitation in the church from 9-10 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Hey tiff, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Rita was a sweetheart and I'm so glad I was able to know and care for her. She always told me how much she loved you. You're very lucky to have had a special busha like her. Sending big hugs your way!
