Judith Lynn Vebenstad Obituary
Judith Lynn Vebenstad

Judith Lynn Vebenstad, 70 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH. The daughter of Paul and Lorene (Wioland) Roberts, she was born August 9, 1948 in Toledo, OH.

She worked for the Bedford Public School System for 12 years as a morning cook. Early on, before she was married, she worked as a beautician in Point Place. She adored her husband, John and appreciated his leg rubs in the evening.

Judith liked to knit and sew, but traveling was her passion. She's been to most all of the Caribbean Islands. Last fall she traveled to San Francisco, took a train to Portland, and drove back east with her son and daughter. She was always up for anything and enjoyed a good glass of wine. She admits to sneaking into a few Mudhens ball games but stated "I never had to call my kids to say I was in jail!" Judith loved her family and enjoyed family parties, especially the 4th of July.

She is survived by her loving husband, John; children, Amie (Scott) Campbell, Jeff (Denise) Vebenstad; grandchildren, Chrissy, Alex, Riley, and Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, and Cam Nelson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI where she will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Erie, MI. A special thank you to Promedica Hospice, especially Maryanne who encourged her to continue to travel despite being ill.
