WALTERS Mary A. (DeFriece) WALTERS Hayden D. Mary A. (DeFriece) Walters, age 36, of Millbury, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at St. Vincent-Mercy Hospital. She was born in Bellevue, Ohio on April 25, 1974 to Delmos and Dolores (Frisch) DeFriece. She was employed for Children's Discovery Center as an Administrative Assistant. She attended UT and obtained her Associates Degree in Gerontology Social work. She married Ryan Walters on August 10, 1999. Mary was a member of Mainstreet Church. Mary was passionate about her role as a mother and wife. She was devoted to her life with Ryan, Maddie and Hayden. Mary's life revolved around her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She was devoted to seeing others come to a personal relationship with him. Mary enjoyed walking with her sister Amy, riding bikes with her husband and children and camping with her best friends, Scott and Kristi Gibson. She will be best remembered by her fast speech and contagious laugh. She would love nothing more than for you to celebrate her life by finding peace, knowing that you will join her again in Heaven. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ryan; daughter, Madison Walters; mother, Dolores DeFriece; brothers, Daniel (Jennifer) DeFriece and Chad (Ambre) DeFriece; sister, Amy (Craig) Sigler and and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Delmos and her baby boy, Hayden. Hayden D. Walters, age 4, of Millbury, died unexpectedly in his residence on Sunday, June 6, 2010. He was born on July 17, 2005 in Toledo, to Ryan and Mary (DeFriece) Walters. Hayden attended Mainstreet Church with his family. Hayden was spunky, energetic, and had an amazing zest for life. One of Hayden's favorite past-times was running along the sidelines of his Daddy's 5K and 10K races. Hayden loved Buzzlight Year, Toy Story and Spider-Man the best. He will be missed most because of the way he opened everyone else's presents at Christmas. The best way to remember him now is to picture him in the arms of his Poppie Walters, Papa Delmos, his Mama and Jesus. He is survived by his Daddy, Ryan and big sister, Maddie; grandparents, Dolores DeFriece and Barbara Walters; aunts, Amy (Craig) Sigler, Robin (Chris) Arquette, Rachel (Damian) Gerwin and Dawn Holden-Walters and uncles, Daniel (Jennifer) DeFriece, Chad (Ambre) DeFriece and Robert Walters Jr. He was preceded in death by his Mama, Mary; and grandfathers, Delmos DeFriece and Robert Walters Sr. Mama, Mama, Mama What I Love you !!! Friends will be received for Hayden and Mary on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. at Mainstreet Church, 705 Campus 705 N. Main St., Walbridge and Friday, June 11, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. in the Witzler - Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge ( 419-666-3121 ). Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg. Pastor Marty Pennington of Mainstreet Church will be officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Mary and Hayden Walters Scholarship Fund at Fifth Third Bank for Maddie and Children's Discovery Center.
