Ruthie and I were best friends in high school. We biked all over Port Clinton, attended church camp together, fell in love with Mario Lanza together, ate celery sticks at the movies, and she never held it against me that I was the preacher'a kid. In later years she and her husband Jim made it possible for me to attend our high school reunion by putting an extra cot in their motel . She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I extend my sympathy to family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Blessings, Sandra (Miller) Chhatpar.
